Director:

• Dr. Frank Suder, born in 1962, graduated with a degree in biology in 1989 and went on to complete his doctorate on a behavioral physiology topic in the field of insect flight control. He initially worked as a research assistant at the University of Cologne, then as a management consultant for the Boston Consulting Group and subsequently as an assistant to the Executive Board of the German Research Foundation and personal assistant to the President of the DFG. Dr. Frank Suder has worked for the Fritz Thyssen Foundation since 1997 and has been its director since 2014.
